one thousand e ight hundred and seventy-e ight ,	a l lo tmen t

n u m b e r th i r t een of t he said section and town as or ig inal ly surveyed was sold and gran ted to one F ranc i s J a m e s Connelly, t hen of Forbes, now deceased, such Crown g ran t be ing registered in t he office of t h e Reg i s ­

seven, folio n u m b e r s i x t y - e i g h t : A n d whereas t h e lands comprised in such Crown g ran t s were purchased by the Crown in or about t he year one thousand e igh t hundred and e ighty-four , b u t such Crown g ran t s are st i l l regis tered in t h e office of t he Reg i s t r a r -Gene ra l in t h e n a m e of the said P a t r i c k Maloney and F r a n c i s J a m e s Connel ly respectively, and the Crown g ran t s canno t be located, and the re is no t race of any M e m o r a n d u m of

Transfer or Sur render thereof to the Crown : A n d

whereas it is desirable to declare that such lands were on such purchase vested in the Crown: Be it there- fore enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :—

1 . This Act mav be cited as the "Crown Purchases Vesting Act, 1923.'"

2 . The lands comprised in the said grants shall on the respective dates of their purchase by the Crown as aforesaid be deemed to have been vested in and the property of the Crown, and to have been Crown lands within the meaning of any Act dealing with Crown lands; and all dealings by the Crown in respect of such lands after such purchase shall be deemed to have been valid.
