An Act to amend the Crown Lands (Shack Sites) Act 1997

Be it enacted by His Excellency the Governor of Tasmania, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and House of Assembly, in Parliament assembled, as follows:

1Short titleThis Act may be cited as the Crown Lands (Shack Sites) Amendment Act 2010 . 2CommencementThis Act commences on 1 September 2010, but if this Act does not receive Royal Assent on or before that date this Act is taken to have commenced on 1 September 2010. 3Principal ActIn this Act, the Crown Lands (Shack Sites) Act 1997 is referred to as the Principal Act. 4Section 17 substituted Section 17 of the Principal Act is repealed and the following section is substituted: 17Rental for replacement lease Subject to section 17A, the rental for a replacement lease is the rental that is prescribed in the regulations or determined by the application of any rate, formula or other method set out in the regulations. 5Repeal of ActThis Act is repealed on the ninetieth day from the day on which it commences.
