An Act to extinguish public rights of way over certain land at East Devonport

[Royal Assent 17 December 2001]

Be it enacted by His Excellency the Governor of Tasmania, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and House of Assembly, in Parliament assembled, as follows:

1Short titleThis Act may be cited as the Crown Lands (Extinguishment of Public Rights) Act 2001 . 2CommencementThis Act commences on a day to be proclaimed. 3Extinguishment of public rightsAll public rights of way over the land at East Devonport, as described in folio of the Register Volume 136393, folio 1 kept by the Recorder of Titles under the Land Titles Act 1980 , comprising part of Douglas Street, Stephen Street and the Esplanade, are extinguished. 4Administration of ActUntil provision is made in relation to this Act by order under section 4 of the Administrative Arrangements Act 1990  – (a) the administration of this Act is assigned to the Minister for Primary Industries, Water and Environment; and (b) the department responsible to the Minister for Primary Industries, Water and Environment in relation to the administration of this Act is the Department of Primary Industries, Water and Environment.
