CROWN LANDS ACT 1989—REGULATION
(Relating to the protection of public land by authorised persons)

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of the Crown Lands Act 1989, has been pleased to make the Regulation set forth hereunder.

The Crown Lands Regulation 1990 is amended by omitting clause 47
and by inserting instead the following clause:
Protection of public land—authorised persons
47. For the purposes of paragraph (b) of the definition of “authorised person” in section 153 of the Act, the following offices, positions and ranks are prescribed (except for the purposes of section 159 of the Act):

EXPLANATORY NOTE
Clause 47 of the Crown Lands Regulation 1990 lists the holders of certain offices, positions and ranks who are authorised persons for the purposes of Division 5 of Part 7 of the Crown Lands Act 1989. That Division provides for the protection of public land (e.g. Crown land and reserves). The object of this Regulation is to update that list and include certain positions relating to Luna Park.
This Regulation is made under the Crown Lands Act 1989, including sections 153 and 184 (the general regulation-making power).
