Criminal Procedure (Attendance of Witnesses) Amendment Regulations 2002

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Criminal Procedure (Attendance of Witnesses) Act 1996 .17 June 2002

1Short titleThese regulations may be cited as the Criminal Procedure (Attendance of Witnesses) Amendment Regulations 2002 . 2CommencementThese regulations take effect on the day on which their making is notified in the Gazette. 3Principal RegulationsIn these regulations, the Criminal Procedure (Attendance of Witnesses) Regulations 1999 are referred to as the Principal Regulations. 4Regulation 7 amended (Expenses of witnesses) Regulation 7(1) of the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting "quarter most recently preceding that attendance" from paragraph (b) in the table and substituting "December quarter for the previous year".
