His Excellency the Lieutenant-Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Criminal Procedure Act 1986.

Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to increase certain fees that are payable in relation to criminal
proceedings.
This Regulation is made under the Criminal Procedure Act 1986, including section 4A

(Fees).

Criminal Procedure Amendment (Fees) Regulation 2007

Criminal Procedure Act 1986

1      Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Criminal Procedure Amendment (Fees)
Regulation 2007.

2      Commencement

This Regulation commences on 1 July 2007.

3 Amendment of Criminal Procedure Regulation 2005

The Criminal Procedure Regulation 2005 is amended as set out in
Schedule 1.

Filing a notice of appeal, or an application for leave to appeal, to the District Court under Part 3 of the Crimes (Appeal and Review) Act 2001:

(a) in relation to a single offence $85
(b) in relation to more than 1 offence arising from the $131
same court appearance
4 To issue a certificate of conviction or dismissal $46
5 Retrieving, providing access to and furnishing a copy of $10, plus $5 for
any document (otherwise than as provided for by items 4, 6 each 10 pages
and 8) (or part thereof)

6 Retrieving and providing access to, but not furnishing a $0

7 Supply of duplicate tape recording of sound-recorded $38 per cassette
