Criminal Procedure Amendment (Fees
and Court Costs Levy) Regulation 2013

Criminal Procedure Act 1986
His Excellency the Lieutenant-Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Criminal Procedure Act 1986.

Explanatory note
The objects of this Regulation are:
| (a) | to increase the fees payable in relation to criminal proceedings, and |
| (b) | to increase (from $83 to $85) the court costs levy so that it is in line with the filing fee for criminal matters in the Local Court. |
This Regulation is made under the Criminal Procedure Act 1986, including sections 4 (the general regulation-making power), 4A, 114 and 211A.

1 Name of Regulation
This Regulation is the Criminal Procedure Amendment (Fees and Court
Costs Levy) Regulation 2013.
2 Commencement
This Regulation commences on 1 July 2013 and is required to be published on the NSW legislation website.

Retrieving, providing access to and furnishing a copy of any document (otherwise than as provided for by items 9 and 11):
