Explanatory note

On the commencement of the , the District Court will have general regulation-making power) and 4A (Fees).

The object of this Regulation is to amend the Criminal Procedure Regulation 2010 to include
a fee of $1,596 for filing an application to commence summary proceedings in the District
Court (other than proceedings commenced by the secretary of an industrial organisation of

employees).

1      Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Criminal Procedure Amendment (District Court
Summary Jurisdiction Fees) Regulation 2011.

2      Commencement

This Regulation commences on 1 January 2012 and is required to be published on the NSW legislation website.
