I, the Governor, acting under section 2 (2) of the Criminal Procedure Amendment Act 1993, and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, fix the day on which this proclamation is
published in the Government Gazette as the day on which sections 7, 8, 9 and 10 (2) (b) of that Act
come into operation.
Given under my hand and the Public Seal of the State on 1 March 1994.
