PROCLAMATION

By deputation from His Excellency the Governor.

I, Rear Admiral PETER ROSS SINCLAIR, A.C., Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Criminal Legislation Amendment Act 1995, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 September 1995 as the day on which the uncommenced provisions of that Act (being the amendments to the Criminal Procedure Act 1986 made by Schedule 1.4 (2), (3) and (4)) commence.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Proclamation is to commence the uncommenced provisions of the Criminal Legislation Amendment Act 1995. Those provisions amend the Criminal Procedure Act 1986.
