Criminal Investigation (Identifying People)

(a)	regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these regulations are published in the Gazette;
(b)	the rest of the regulations — on the day after that day.

Amendment Regulations 2017

Made by the deputy of the Governor in Executive Council.

1.           Citation

These regulations are the Criminal Investigation (Identifying
People) Amendment Regulations 2017.

2.            Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows —

3.      Regulations amended

These regulations amend the Criminal Investigation (Identifying
People) Regulations 2002.

4.      Regulation SA replaced

Delete regulation 5A and insert:

5A.	Disclosure of identifying information (s. 73(1)(n))
For section 73(l)(n) of the Act, the following purposes are prescribed -

(a) the Australian Crime Commission's national

policing information functions under the Australian Crime Commission Act 2002 (Commonwealth);

(b)	a review, special inquiry or investigation under
the Public Sector Management Act 1994 Part 3A Division 3.
