I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Criminal Investigation (Extra-Territorial Offences) Act 1987 .15 December 2003

1Short titleThese regulations may be cited as the Criminal Investigation (Extra-Territorial Offences) Regulations 2003 . 2CommencementThese regulations take effect on 1 January 2004. 3InterpretationIn these regulations, Act means the Criminal Investigation (Extra-Territorial Offences) Act 1987 . 4Application of police officerAn application of a police officer under section 4 of the Act is to be in accordance with Schedule 1 . 5Search warrantA search warrant issued by a magistrate under section 4 of the Act is to be in accordance with Schedule 2 . 6Notice of execution of search warrantA notice given by a police officer under section 5(6)(a) of the Act is to be in accordance with Schedule 3 . (This note is not part of the regulation) These regulations prescribe the following forms for the purpose of the

(a) an application by a police officer under section 4 of the Act; (b) a search warrant issued by a magistrate under section 4 of the Act; (c) a notice of execution of search warrant under section 5(6)(a) of the Act.
