Made under the Criminal Investigation (Extra-territorial Offences)

Act 1987 section 3(3) by the deputy of the Governor in Executive

Council.

1.            Citation

This proclamation is the Criminal Investigation

(Extra-territorial Offences) Act 1987 Proclamation 2023.

2.             Corresponding laws

For the purposes of the definition of corresponding law in the

Criminal Investigation (Extra-territorial Offences) Act 1987

section 3(1) each of the following laws is declared to be a
corresponding law —
(g) the Crimes Act 1900 (Australian Capital Territory).
(a) the Crimes Act 1958 (Victoria);
(b) the Law Enforcement (Powers and Responsibilities)

Act 2002 (New South Wales);

(c) the Police Powers and Responsibilities Act 2000 (Queensland);
(d) the Criminal Investigation (Extraterritorial Offences)

Act 1984 (South Australia);

(e) the Criminal Investigation (Extra-Territorial Offences)

Act 1987 (Tasmania);

(f) the Criminal Investigation (Extra-territorial Offences)

Act 1985 (Northern Territory);

3. Proclamation revoked

The proclamation made under the Criminal Investigation

(Extra-territorial Offences) Act 1987 and published in the

Gazette on 12 May 1989 at p. 1431 is revoked.
