1Name

This instrument is the Criminal Code (Terrorist Organisation—Islamic State in Libya) Regulations 2019.

2Commencement

1. (1)

   Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

5Terrorist organisation – Islamic State in Libya

1. (1)

   For the purposes of paragraph (b) of the definition of terrorist organisation in subsection 102.1(1) of the Criminal Code, the organisation known as Islamic State in Libya is specified.

2. (2)

   Islamic State in Libya is also known by the following names:

   1. (a)

      Islamic State‑Libya;

   2. (b)

      Islamic State of Iraq and al‑Sham in Libya;

   3. (c)

      Islamic State of Iraq and al‑Sham‑Libya;

   4. (d)

      Islamic State of Iraq and Syria in Libya;

   5. (e)

      Islamic State of Iraq and Syria‑Libya;

   6. (f)

      Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant in Libya;

   7. (g)

      Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant‑Libya;

   8. (h)

      Wilayat al‑Tarabulus;

   9. (i)

      Wilayat Barqa;

   10. (j)

       Wilayat Barqah;

   11. (k)

       Wilayat Fezzan;

   12. (l)

       Wilayat Tarablus;

   13. (m)

       Wilayat Tripolitania.
