Criminal Code (External Agencies) Regulation 2016
1 Short title
This regulation may be cited as the Criminal Code (External Agencies) Regulation 2016.
2 External agencies
For the Criminal Code, section 86(3), definition external agency, paragraph (f)(iii), each of the following entities is declared to be an external agency—(a)ASIC;(b)the Australian Crime Commission under the Australian Crime Commission Act 2002 (Cwlth);(c)the Australian Border Force under the Australian Border Force Act 2015 (Cwlth);(d)the Australian Security Intelligence Organisation established under the Australian Security Intelligence Organisation Act 1979 (Cwlth);(e)the Corruption and Crime Commission established under the Corruption, Crime and Misconduct Act 2003 (WA);(f)the Independent Commission against Corruption established under the Independent Commission Against Corruption Act 1988 (NSW);(g)the New South Wales Crime Commission established under the Crime Commission Act 2012 (NSW);(h)the Independent Broad-based Anti-corruption Commission established under the Independent Broad-based Anti-corruption Commission Act 2011 (Vic);(i)the National Anti-Corruption Commission established under the National Anti-Corruption Commission Act 2022 (Cwlth).
