  1. Name of Regulations

These Regulations are the Criminal Code Amendment Regulations 2007 (No. 4).

  1. Commencement

These Regulations commence on the day after they are registered.

  1. Amendment of Criminal Code Regulations 2002

Schedule 1 amends the Criminal Code Regulations 2002.

4JTerrorist organisations — Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan (IMU)

(1)For paragraph (b) of the definition of terrorist organisation in subsection 102.1 (1) of the Code, the organisation known as Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan (IMU) is specified.

(2)For subregulation (1), Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan (IMU) is also known by the following names:

(a)Islamic Movement of Turkestan;

(b)Islamic Party of Turkestan.
