1Name

This instrument is the Crimes (Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances) Regulations 2018.

2Commencement

1. (1)

   Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

3Authority

This instrument is made under the Crimes (Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances) Act 1990.

Each instrument that is specified in a Schedule to this instrument is amended or repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this instrument has effect according to its terms.

5Prescribed States and Territories

For the purposes of sections 15A, 15B and 15C of the Crimes (Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances) Act 1990, the following States and Territories are prescribed:

   New South Wales;

2. (b)

   Victoria;

3. (c)

   Queensland;

4. (d)

   Western Australia;

5. (e)

   South Australia;

6. (f)

   Tasmania;

7. (g)

   Australian Capital Territory;

8. (h)

   Northern Territory.
