Name of regulation
This regulation is the Crimes (Surveillance Devices) Amendment Regulation 2022 (No 1).
Commencement
This regulation commences on the day after its notification day.
NoteThe naming and commencement provisions automatically commence on the notification day (see Legislation Act, s 75 (1)).
Legislation amended
This regulation amends the Crimes (Surveillance Devices) Regulation 2017.
New section 3 (f)
insert
(f)the Surveillance Devices Act 2016 (SA), except to the extent that it provides for a surveillance device (emergency) authority to be granted in relation to a serious drug offence.
NoteA surveillance device (emergency) authority would otherwise be a corresponding emergency authorisation (see Act, dict, def corresponding emergency authorisation).
