Crimes (Sentencing Procedure) Amendment (Council Law Enforcement Officers) Act 2009 (NSW)

An Act to amend the Crimes (Sentencing Procedure) Act 1999 to make provision in relation to the sentencing of offenders where the victim was a council law enforcement officer.

1Name of Act

This Act is the Crimes (Sentencing Procedure) Amendment (Council Law Enforcement Officers) Act 2009.

2Commencement

This Act commences on the date of assent to this Act.

3Amendment of Crimes (Sentencing Procedure) Act 1999 No 92(1)

Insert “, council law enforcement officer” after “judicial officer” in section 21A (2) (a).

Insert “, council law enforcement officer” after “judicial officer” in the matter relating to Item No 1A in the Table to Division 1A.
