Correction Orders) Act 2010 No 48

MARIE BASHIR, Governor I, Professor Marie Bashir AC, CVO, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Crimes (Sentencing Legislation) Amendment (Intensive Correction Orders) Act 2010, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 October 2010 as the day on which that Act, other than Schedule 3, commences.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence the Crimes (Sentencing Legislation) Amendment (Intensive Correction Orders) Act 2010, other than Schedule 3. Schedule 3 is redundant as it amends the Crimes (Sentencing Procedure) Regulation 2005, which was repealed on 1 September 2010.
