Crimes Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Crimes Act 1914.

1. After regulation 2 of the Crimes Regulations the following regulation is inserted:

Order prescribed for purposes of section 20ab of the Act

“3. A community-based order made under Part 5 of the Penalties and Sentences Act 1985 of the State of Victoria is prescribed for the purposes of section 20ab of the Crimes Act 1914.”.

Renumbering of last regulation

2. The last regulation of the Crimes Regulations is renumbered as regulation 4.

Schedule

3. The Schedule to the Crimes Regulations is amended by omitting “Regulation 3” and substituting “Regulation 4”.
