Crimes Regulations2(Amendment)

I, The Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Crimes Act 1914.

1.   Commencement

1.1   These Regulations commence on gazettal.

2.   Amendment

2.1   The Crimes Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

3.   Schedule 4 (Spent convictions—exclusions from privacy provisions)

3.1   Add at the end of the Schedule:

“17

Citizen Advocacy Western Sydney Incorporated

Assessing the suitability of a person:

(a) to voluntarily act as an advocate for an intellectually disabled person; and

(b) to have responsibility for the care of an intellectually disabled person

Offences against the person”.
