1Name of Regulations

These Regulations are the Crimes (Overseas) (Declared Foreign Countries) Amendment Regulations 2005 (No. 1).

2Commencement

These Regulations commence on 1 July 2005.

3Amendment of Crimes (Overseas) (Declared Foreign Countries) Regulations 2003

Schedule 1 amends the Crimes (Overseas) (Declared Foreign Countries) Regulations 2003.

[1]Paragraph 4 (2) (b)

substitute

  1. (b)

    Iraq is to cease being a declared foreign country for the purposes of the Act on 1 July 2007.

[2]Paragraph 5 (2) (b)

substitute

  1. (b)

    the Solomon Islands is to cease being a declared foreign country for the purposes of the Act on 1 July 2007.
