An Act to amend legislation about intensive corrections orders

The Legislative Assembly for the Australian Capital Territory enacts as follows:

Part 1Preliminary

Name of Act
This Act is the Crimes Legislation Amendment Act 2017.
Commencement
This Act commences on the day after its notification day.
NoteThe naming and commencement provisions automatically commence on the notification day (see Legislation Act, s 75 (1)).
Legislation amended
This Act amends the Crimes (Sentence Administration) Act 2005 and the Crimes (Sentencing) Act 2005.

Chapter 21Delegation

Delegation
A function of the director-general under a provision of this Act mentioned in an item in table 1000, column 2, is for the period mentioned in column 3 for the item (the delegation period) taken to have been delegated to a person who during the delegation period occupied a position with a position number mentioned in column 4 for the item.
