Crimes (Forensic Procedures) Act 2000

1. Name of regulations

   These regulations are the Crimes (Forensic Procedures) Amendment Regulations 2003 (No 1).

2. Commencement

   These regulations commence on the day after their notification day.

   NoteThe naming and commencement provisions automatically commence on the notification day (see Legislation Act, s 75 (1)).

3. Regulations amended

   These regulations amend the Crimes (Forensic Procedures) Regulations 2000.

4. Regulation 6 (1) (c)

   substitute

   (c)the Crimes Act 1958 (Vic), part 3, division 1, subdivision 30A;

   (d)the Police Powers and Responsibilities Act 2000 (Qld), chapter 8;

   (e)the Criminal Investigation (Identifying People) Act 2002 (WA);

   (f)the Criminal Law (Forensic Procedures) Act 1998 (SA);

   (g)the Forensic Procedures Act 2000 (Tas);

   (h)the Juvenile Justice Act 1983 (NT), sections 31, 31A, 31B, 51 and 70B;

   (i)the Police Administration Act 1978 (NT), part 7, division 7.
