REGULATIONS UNDER THE CRIMES (CONFISCATION OF PROFITS)

ACT, 1986

1. These regulations may be cited as the Crimes (Confiscation of Profits) Regulations, 1987.

2. These regulations will come into operation on 1 March, 1987.

3. In these regulations, unless the contrary intention appears—

"the Act" means the Crimes (Confiscation of Profits) Act, 1986.

4. A search warrant issued by a magistrate under section 7 of the Act, on the personal

application of a member of the police force, must be in the form of Form 1 of the schedule.

5. A search warrant issued by a magistrate under section 7 of the Act, on the telephone

application of a member of the police force, must be in the form of Form 2 of the schedule.

6. A notice under section 8(6) of the Act must be in the form of Form 3 of the schedule.

Form 1

SEARCH WARRANT

(personal application)

WHEREAS 1. I.................................................................a magistrate have received an application made personally

and verified by affidavit for a search warrant from:

2. On the application I am satisfied that there are reasonable grounds to believe that a search of—

the following morning.

This warrant will expire at the expiration of one month from the date appearing below.
