1. Name of regulation

   This regulation is the Crimes (Child Sex Offenders) Amendment Regulation 2012 (No 1).

2. Commencement

   This regulation commences on the day after its notification day.

   NoteThe naming and commencement provisions automatically commence on the notification day (see Legislation Act, s 75 (1)).

3. Legislation amended

   This regulation amends the Crimes (Child Sex Offenders) Regulation 2005.

4. Section 7 (a) to (c)

   substitute

7. New section 16A (1) (o)

   insert

   (o)the commissioner for fair trading exercising functions under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011.

8. New section 18 (da) and (db)

   insert

   (da)a child sex offender registration order under the Child Sex Offenders Registration Act 2006 (SA);

   (db)an offender reporting order under the Community Protection (Offender Reporting) Act 2005 (TAS);

9. New section 19 (da) and (db)

   insert

   (da)Child Sex Offenders Registration Act 2006 (SA);

   (db)Community Protection (Offender Reporting) Act 2005 (TAS);
