1Name of Regulations

These Regulations are the Crimes Amendment Regulations 2004 (No. 1).

2Commencement

These Regulations commence, or are taken to have commenced, as follows:

  1. (a)

    on 1 September 1995 — regulations 1 to 3 and Schedule 1;

  2. (b)

    on 3 April 2000 — regulation 4 and Schedule 2;

  3. (c)

    on the date of their notification in the Gazette — Schedule 3.

3Amendment of Crimes Regulations

Schedule 1 amends the Crimes Regulations.

4Amendment of Crimes Regulations 1990

Schedules 2 and 3 amend the Crimes Regulations 1990.

Schedule 1Amendment taken to have commenced on 1 September 1995

    an order for periodic detention made under Part 2 of the Periodic Detention Act 1995 of the Australian Capital Territory;
