Crimes Act 1914 .Dated 24 June 2004

These Regulations are the
Crimes Amendment Regulations 2004 (No. 1) .
These Regulations commence, or are taken to have commenced, as follows:
(a) on 1 September 1995 — regulations 1 to 3 and Schedule 1;
(b) on 3 April 2000 — regulation 4 and Schedule 2;
(c) on the date of their notification in the G
azette — Schedule 3.
Schedule 1 amends the Crimes Regulations.
Schedules 2 and 3 amend the
Crimes Regulations 1990 .
(regulation 3)
insert
(aa) an order for periodic detention made under Part 2 of the
Periodic Detention Act 1995 of the Australian Capital Territory;
(regulation 4)
insert
(ab) a periodic detention order made under Part 2 of the
Crimes (Sentencing Procedure) Act 1999 of New South Wales;
(regulation 4)

These Regulations amend Statutory Rules 1990 No. 227, as amended by 1991 Nos. 235 and 258; 1992 Nos. 91 and 276; 1994 No. 297; 1995 No. 23; 1996 Nos. 7, 125, 228 and 264; 1997 No. 14; 1998 Nos. 68 and 361; 1999 No. 156; 2000 Nos. 99, 100 and 219; 2001 Nos. 49, 105, 138 and 334; 2002 Nos. 5, 66, 186, 194 and 326; 2003 Nos. 165, 248, 265, 306, 307 and 338.
