An Act
to amend the Crimes Act 1914.

to 7th May, 1915.]
BE
it enacted by the King’s Most Excellent Majesty, the Senate, and the House of
Representatives of the Commonwealth of Australia, as follows:—
Short
title, citation, and duration.
1.—(1.) This Act may be cited as the Crimes Act 1915.
(2.) The Crimes
Act 1914, as amended by this Act, may be cited as the Crimes Act 1914-1915.
(3.) This Act shall continue in force during the continuance of the war
and for six months thereafter, and no longer.
Conspiracy
to defraud the Commonwealth.
2. Section eighty-six of the Crimes
Act 1914 is amended by inserting after paragraph (d) the following words:—
“or
(e)to
defraud the Commonwealth.”
Commencement
of operation.
3. This Act shall be deemed to have been in force from the date of
the commencement of the Crimes Act 1914
