Crime (Confiscation of Profits) Amendment Regulations 2003

I, the Lieutenant-Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Crime (Confiscation of Profits) Act 1993 .27 June 2003

1Short titleThese regulations may be cited as the Crime (Confiscation of Profits) Amendment Regulations 2003 . 2CommencementThese regulations take effect on the day on which their making is notified in the Gazette. 3Principal RegulationsIn these regulations, the Crime (Confiscation of Profits) Regulations 1993 are referred to as the Principal Regulations. 4Regulation 3 amended (Interpretation) Regulation 3 of the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting " Crimes (Confiscation) Act 1989 " from the definition of Queensland Act and substituting " Criminal Proceeds Confiscation Act 2002 ". 5Regulation 5 amended (Interstate forfeiture order) Regulation 5(d) of the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting "section 23" and substituting "section 58 or 151". 6Regulation 6 amended (Interstate pecuniary penalty order) Regulation 6(d) of the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting "section 34" and substituting "section 78, 184 or 202". 7Regulation 7 amended (Interstate restraining order) Regulation 7(d) of the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting "section 40 or 45" and substituting "section 31, 37, 122, 129 or 208".
