AN ACT to amend the Stamp Act, 1921-1977, the Money Lenders Act, 1912-1974, and the Companies (Co-operative) Act, 1943-1976.

[Assented to 7th November, 1979.]

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most ExcellentMajesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

1.    This Act may be cited as the Credit Unions Short title.

(Consequential Provisions) Act, 1979.

2.    This Act shall come into operation on the date iCnoe iniut3.2 ence-

on which the Credit Unions Act, 1979 comes into

operation.

amended.	4. Subsection (1) of section 1121 of the principal Act is amended by deleting paragraph (c) of the interpretation "credit business" and substituting a paragraph as follows

(c) the business of making loans to its members of a credit union, or foreign credit union, registered under the Credit Unions Act, 1979; .
