Credit Regulations² (Amendment)

I, GORDON GLEN DENTON SCHOLES, the Minister of State for Territories, pursuant to section 8 of the Interpretation Ordinance 1967, hereby make the following Regulations under the Credit Ordinance 1985.

Principal Regulations

1.  In these Regulations, “Principal Regulations” means the Credit Regulations.

Registration of non-licensed credit providers

2.  Regulation 26 of the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting from paragraph (c) of the prescribed variations or modifications of section 171 of the Ordinance specified in column 2 of the table in subregulation (4) “1986” and substituting “1987”.

Registered credit providers—transition

3.  Regulation 27 of the Principal Regulations is amended:

(a)by omitting from paragraph (1) (b) “1986” and substituting “1987”; and

(b)by omitting from paragraph (5) (c) “1986” and substituting “1987”.
