2 Credit (Building Societies Exemption) No. 365, 1992 ˙ Short title 1. This order in council may be cited as the Credit (Building Societies Exemption) Order 1992 . ˙ Exemption 2. Parts 3 to 8 of the Act do not have effect in relation to— (a) a building society within the meaning of the Financial Institutions (Queensland) Code; or (b) a person or body exempted from section 144(2) of the Financial Institutions (Queensland) Code. ˙ Amended order in council 3. The order in council made under the Act and published in the Gazette on 17 December 1988 at pages 1944-9 is amended by omitting that part of the order comprising Credit (Building Societies Exemption) Order No. 7 of 1988.
