Regulations 2001
The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1. Objective
The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Credit (Administration) (Committee) Regulations
19961 to
(a)
vary the prescribed bodies representing interests of credit providers; and
(b)
vary the prescribed bodies representing interests of consumers.
2. Authorising provision
These Regulations are made under section 95 of the Credit (Administration) Act 1984.
3. Commencement
These Regulations come into operation on
2 November 2001.

In regulation 3(1) of the Credit (Administration)
(Committee) Regulations 1996—
(a)
in paragraph (b), for "Limited" substitute "Limited, ACN 087 822 455";
(b) paragraph (d) is revoked.
5. Prescribed bodies representing interests of consumers
In regulation 3(2) of the Credit (Administration)
(Committee) Regulations 1996—
(a)
for paragraph (a) substitute— "(a) Financial and Consumer Rights Council
Inc., A0000536A;";
(b)
in paragraph (d), for "Inc." substitute "Inc., A0023361K;";
(c)
after paragraph (d) insert— "(e) Consumer Law Centre Victoria,
ACN 056 362 059.".
