An Act to amend the Act of Council six Victoria
number fifteen in respect of the Fees receiv
able in the Courts of Requests for the County
| of Cumberland. | [11th August, 1853.] |
1. So much of the said recited Act as empowers the said Governor with the assistance of the said Commissioner to make Rules and Regulations touching the Fees and sums of money to be taken by the several Officers of the said Courts of Requests shall be and the same is hereby repealed.
2. After the first day of October next the Fees payable in the said Courts on all Process issued therefrom shall be those mentioned in the Schedule hereunto annexed and no other Fees in respect of any Process or Proceeding therein shall be payable or shall be received by the Officers of the said Courts.
3 . All Fees received or receivable by any such Officer (the Fees
properly due to and receivable by the Bailiffs of the said Courts as mileage levy and possession fees excepted) under and by virtue of this Act shall be paid to Her Majesty for the public uses of the Colony and in support of the Government thereof and shall be applied in such manner as may be from time to time directed by any Act of the Governor and Legislative Council.
