I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Courts Legislation Further Amendment Act 1998, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint l July 1999 as the day on which Schedule 10 to that Act commences.

GOD SAVE THE QUEEN!
This proclamation commences amendments to the Supreme Court Act 1970 that abolish all existing Divisions of the Court other than the Common Law Division and the Equity Division, provide for the assignment of proceedings to those remaining Divisions and enable the Chief Justice to designate Judges of the Court to be List Judges.
