NO 141-PROCLAMATION
(L.S.) GORDON SAMUELS, Governor.
I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Courts Legislation Further Amendment Act 1997, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint:
| (a) | 2 February 1998 as the day on which that Act except for Schedules 1.1, 1.2 and 1.4 commences, and |
| (b) | 16 February 1998 as the day on which Schedule 1.2 to that Act commences. |

EXPLANATORY NOTE
This Proclamation commences amendments to the following Acts on 2 February 1998:
Compensation Court Act 1984, District Court Act 1973, District Court Amendment Act 1997, Family Provision Act 1982, Legal Profession Act 1987, Local Courts Act 1982, Suitors Fund 1951, Supreme Court Act 1970, Testator's Family Maintenance and Guardianship of lnfants Act 1916, Uncollected Goods Act 1995.
This Proclamation also commences amendments to the Bail Act 1978 on 16 February
1998.
Schedule 1.1, which remains uncommenced, deals with amendments to the
Administrative Decisions Tribunal Act 1997. Schedule 1.4, which remains
uncommenced, deals with amendments to the Costs in Criminal Cases Act 1967.
