Courts Legislation Amendment New South Wales

Act 2000 No 31—Proclamation

MARIE BASHIR, Governor I, Professor Marie Bashir AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Courts Legislation Amendment Act 2000, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 26 October 2001 as the day on which Schedule 7 to that Act commences.

Explanatory note

The proclamation commences Schedule 7 to the Courts Legislation Amendment Act 2000. Schedule 7 amends the Judges’ Pensions Act 1953 to provide for a lump sum superannuation benefit for judges and acting judges who are not eligible for a pension under that Act.
