1999 No 39—Proclamation
JAMES JACOB SPIGELMAN,
by deputation from His Excellency the Governor
I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, Governor of the State of New South
Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2
of the Courts Legislation Amendment Act 1999, do, by this my Proclamation,
appoint 1 September 1999 as the day on which the following provisions of that
Act commence:
| (a) | Schedules 1, 2, 3, 5, 7 and 8, and |
(b) Schedule 4 [4]–[32].

Explanatory note
The object of this Proclamation is to commence amendments to the Criminal Appeal Act 1912, the Industrial Relations Act 1996, the Jury Act 1977, the Land and Environment Court Act 1979, the Supreme Court Act 1970 and the Wills, Probate and Administration Act 1898. The Proclamation also commences the remaining uncommenced amendments to the Justices Act 1902 made by Schedule 4 to the Act.
Schedule 6 to the Act, which remains uncommenced, deals with amendments to the Local Courts
(Civil Claims) Act 1970.
