COURTS LEGISLATION AMENDMENT ACT 1998 NO 49—

PROCLAMATION

(L.S.) GORDON SAMUELS. Governor.

I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council. and in pursuance of section 2 of the Courts Legislation Amendment Act 1998, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 4 December 1998 as the day on which the uncommenced provisions of that Act commence.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this proclamation is to commence Schedule 11 to the Courts Legislation Amendment Act 1998. Schedule 11 substitutes section 32 of the Dust Diseases Tribunal Act 1989, which relates to appeals to the supreme court from decisions of the Dust Diseases Tribunal, and inserts a savings and transitional provision into Schedule 3

(Savings, transitional and other provisions) to the DustDiseasesTribunals Act 1989
