COURTS LEGISLATION AMENDMENT ACT 1997 No 47—

PROCLAMATION

(L.S.) GORDON SAMUELS, Governor.

I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Courts Legislation Amendment Act 1997, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 9 March 1998 as the day on which Schedule 4 to that Act commences.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
This Proclamation commences the uncommenced provisions of the Courts Legislation

Amendment Act 1997 which amend the Land and Environment Court Act 1979.

These amendments relate to orders for the payment of costs by parties to Class 5

(summary jurisdiction) proceedings before the Land and Environment Court.
