3. Regulation 5 replaced
Regulation 5 is repealed and the following regulation is inserted instead -
5. Prescribed lock-ups
The places listed in the Table to this regulation are prescribed as lock-ups for the purposes of the Act.
Table
Albany The part of the Albany Justice Complex, located
at 184 Stirling Terrace, Albany, that is -
(a)
the central portion of the northern side of the building; and
(b)
used as a lock-up facility and court custody centre.
Carnarvon The building located at Lot 1328 Robinson Street,
Carnarvon, that is -
(a) adjacent to the Carnarvon courthouse; (b) adjacent to the Carnarvon police station; and (c) used as a lock-up facility. Kalgoorlie The part of the Kalgoorlie Police Complex,
located at 57 Brookman Street, Kalgoorlie, that
is -
(a) the eastern portion of the building; and (b) used as a lock-up facility.
4. Regulation 18 amended
Regulation 18(1) is amended as follows:
(a)
at the end of paragraph (b) by deleting the full stop and inserting a semicolon instead;
(b)
after paragraph (b) by inserting the following paragraph -
"
(c)
ankle cuffs made of webbing and lockable by use of padlocks (known as ankle ribbands).
