AN ORDINANCE

To amend the Court of Petty Sessions Ordinance

1930-1934.

BE it ordained by the Governor-General in and over the Executive Council, in pursuance of the powers conferred by the Commonwealth of Australia, with the advice of the Federal Seat of Government Acceptance Act 1909 and the Seat of Govern-
ment (Administration) Act 1910-1933, as follows:—

1.— (1.) This Ordinance may be cited as the Court of Petty short titi

Sessions Ordinance 1937. cltat,0D-

(2.) The Court of Petty Sessions Ordinance 1930-1934, as amended by this Ordinance, may be cited as the Court of Petty Sessions Ordinance 1930-1937.

Ordinance 1930-1934 is amended by omitting the following words Schedule- 2.— (1.) The Fourth Schedule to the Court of Petty Sessions Fourth

and figures:—

" For checking and certifying documents required

on the hearing of an appeal per folio where

documents do not exceed five folios . . 10 0

Where the documents exceed five folios then for

every additional folio . . . . . . 2 0 "

and inserting in their stead the following words and figures:—

Authorised by the ACT Parliamentary Counsel—also accessible at

" For checking and certifying documents required

on the hearing of an appeal per folio of

seventy-two words each . . . . . . 0 3 " .

(2.) The amendment made by the last preceding sub-section shall apply in relation to all appeals instituted on or after the third day of March, One thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven.
