COUNTRY WOMEN'S ASSOCIATION OF NEW SOUTH WALES INCORPORATION (AMEND­ MENT) ACT.

Act No. 3 , 1966.

An Act to amend the provisions of the Country Women's Association of New South Wales Incor­ poration Act, 1931, relating to the registration of the rules of that Association; to validate certain matters; and for purposes connected therewith. [Assented to, 18th March, 1966.]

and with the advice and consent of the Legislative
Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in

Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as

follows: —
(1) This Act may be cited as the "Country Women's
Association of New South Wales Incorporation (Amendment)
Act, 1966".

(2) The Country Women's Association of New South Wales Incorporation Act, 1931, as amended by this Act, may be cited as the Country Women's Association of New South Wales Incorporation Act, 1931-1966.

2. The Country Women's Association of New South Wales Incorporation Act, 1931, is amended by omitting from section eleven the words "in the office for the registration of deeds at Sydney, and shall be open for inspection at all reasonable times by the public, and the said rules or any alteration or repeal of any rule or any new rule shall not be in force until so registered" and by inserting in lieu thereof the words "in the Companies Office established under the Companies Act, 1961, as amended by subsequent Acts, in a manner similar to that in which documents filed or lodged under that Act, as so amended, are recorded, filed and kept,

and

and the said rules or any alteration or repeal of any rule or any new rule shall not be in force until so registered.

Any such copy shall be open for inspection at all reason­ able times by the public".

3. (1) The Registrar-General shall transfer to the Registrar of Companies appointed under the Companies Act, 1961, as amended by subsequent Acts, all documents required to be registered under section eleven of the Country Women's Association of New South Wales Incorporation Act, 1931, and held in the office of the Registrar-General at the commencement of this Act.

(2) Any documents so transferred shall be deemed to have been registered in the Companies Office established under the Companies Act, 1961, as amended by subsequent Acts, in accordance with section eleven of the Country Women's Association of New South Wales Incorporation Act, 1931, as amended by this Act.

The registration in the office of the Registrar-General, before the commencement of this Act, of the rules of the Country Women's Association of New South Wales and of any alteration or repeal of any such rule and of every new rule of that Association shall be, and be deemed always to have been, valid and effectual, notwithstanding that the

registration was not effected in the office for the registration

of deeds at Sydney.
