Country Towns Sewerage Amendment

By-Laws 2005

Made by the Minister under section 34(1) of the Act.

1.           Citation

These by-laws are the Country Towns Sewerage Amendment By-

26 April 2005 GOVERNMENT GAZETTE, WA 1395

2.            The by-laws amended

The amendments in these by-laws are to the Country Towns
Sewerage By-laws 1952*.

3.             By-law 18 amended

By-law 18(a) is amended by deleting "$40.' and inserting instead -

4.            By-law 49 amended

By-law 49(1)(a)(i) and (ii) are amended by deleting "the
Standards Association of Australia" and inserting instead -

Standards Australia

5.            By-law 231 amended

By-law 23 1(3) is repealed.

6. By-law 232 amended
By-law 232 is amended as follows:

(a) before "Any" by inserting the sub-bylaw designation

"(1)";

(b) by deleting "$40 and in addition may be ordered to pay

any expense incurred by the Corporation in consequence

of such breach." and inserting instead -

" $200. ";

(c) before "In" by inserting the sub-bylaw designation "(2)";

(d) by deleting "$10" and inserting instead -

" $50 ";

(e) at the end of the by-law by inserting the following

sub-bylaw -

M.

(3) In addition to any penalty provided by these by-laws,

any expense, loss or damage incurred by the breach of any by-law shall be payable by the person committing the breach and may be recovered as a debt due in a Court of Competent jurisdiction.
