AN ACT to amend the Country Towns Sewerage

Act 1948-1978.

(Assented to 4 December 1981.]

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most ExcellentMajesty, by and with the advice and consent

of the Legislative Council and the Legislative

Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

Short title

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Country and citation.

Towns Sewerage Amendment Act 1981.

(2) In this Act the Country Towns Sewerage Act as approved 11 March

1948-1978 is referred to as the principal Act. 1980.

(3) The principal Act as amended by this Act

may be cited as the Country Towns Sewerage Act

1948-1981.

The principal Act as in force immediately continues to apply in relation to a sewerage rate made or levied for the financial year that is current when this Act comes into operation.

Section 68

amended. 3. Section 68 of the principal Act is amended in

subsection (1)-

(a) by deleting "fifteen" in paragraph (a) and substituting the following-

" 20 " ; and

(b) by deleting "two and one-half" in paragraph (b) and substituting the following
