AN ACT to amend section sixty-eight and section one hundred and two of the Country Towns Sewerage Act, 1948-1976.

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most ExcellentMajesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:-

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Country

Towns Sewerage Act Amendment Act, 1977.	and citation.
Short title

(2) In this Act the Country Towns Sewerage Act,

Section 68

Section 68 of the principal Act is amended by deleting the passage "the annual rate on which would not exceed such amount, but such prescribed amount shall not exceed two dollars", in lines ten to thirteen, and substituting the passage ", notwith- standing that if imposed under other provisions of this Act the rate payable in respect of that land would be less, and the restrictions imposed by subsection (1) of this section do not apply to any such minimum rate".

Section 102 of the principal Act is amended, as to the paragraph designated (14), by deleting the words "land under a prescribed value" and substituting the words "certain lands".
