COUNTRY TAXI-CARS (FARES AND CHARGES) AMENDMENT REGULATIONS (NO. 3) 1994

Made by His Excellency the Governor in Executive Council.

Citation

I.     These regulations may be cited as the Country Taxi-cars (Fares and

Charges) Amendment Regulations (No. 3) 1994.

Commencement

2.     These regulations come into operation on 3 October 1994.

Schedule amended

3.     The Schedule to the Country Taxi-cars (Fares and Charges) Regulations

1991* is amended -

(a) in Part 1 in the item commencing "AREA 4 -" by deleting	paragraphs (a) and (b) and substituting the following
paragraphs -

(a) Metered rates - $

(6am - 6pm Mon to Fri)	Flagfall - Tariff 1 ...........................................2.40
(6pm - 6am Mon to Fri Flagfafl - Tariff 2 ...........................................2.90
6pm Fri - 6am Mon and all day on Public Holidays)
Distance rate per kilometre ................................................1.30 for each 80 m or part thereof......................0.10 Detention charge for each hour ..............................................22.00 for each 16.5 seconds or part thereof.........0.10

for each 16.5 seconds or part thereof.........0.10

(b) Off Meter rates -
Distance rate
perkilometre ................................................0.75
Detention charge
for each hour ..............................................22.00

and
(b) in Part 2 —

(i)       in item 1 by deleting paragraph (b);

(ii)      in item 2 by deleting paragraph (b);

(iii) in item 3 —

(I) in paragraph (ba) by deleting "3 and 5" and substituting the following —

3, 4 and 5 "; and

(H)

substituting the following —	in paragraph (c) by deleting "Areas 4 and 12" and
"	Area 12

and

(iv)     in item 4 in paragraph (a) by deleting "4,".
