Country Fire Authority (Charges) Regulations 2007

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Country Fire Authority Regulations 2004—

(a)to increase the charges for emergency attendances by brigades; and

(b)to increase the charges for the monitoring of fire alarm systems.

2Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 110 of the Country Fire Authority Act 1958.

3Commencement

These Regulations come into operation on 1 July 2007.

4Increased charges for emergency attendances

In regulation 97(2) of the Country Fire Authority Regulations 2004[1]—

(a)in paragraph (a), for "$334.65" substitute "$343.02";

(b)in paragraph (b), for "$240.45" substitute "$246.46";

(c)in paragraph (c), for "$136.76" substitute "$140.18".

5Increased charges for monitoring fire alarm systems

In regulation 99 of the Country Fire Authority Regulations 2004—

(a)in paragraph (a), for "$226.88" substitute "$232.55";

(b)in paragraph (b), for "$157.95" substitute "$161.90".
