AN ACT to amend the Country Areas Water Supply

Act, 1947-1957.

[Assented to 2nd December, 1960.]

RE it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent

Majesty, by and with the advice and consent

of the Legislative Council and the Legislative

Assembly of Western Australia, in this present

Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the

same, as follows:—

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Country	Short title
and citation.

Areas Water Supply Act Amendment Act, 1960.

(2) In this Act the Country Areas Water Supply

Act, 1947-1957, is referred to as the principal Act.

(3) The principal Act as amended by this Act may be cited as the Country Areas Water Supply Act, 1947-1960.

Section five of the principal Act is amended by substituting for the words, "the Road Districts Act" being the last four words in the interpretation, "country land", the words, "this section."

amended. 3. Subsection (1) of section sixty-five of the

principal Act is amended

(a)	by repealing paragraph (a) of the proviso including the word, "and" in line five; and
(b)	by deleting the passage, "whether the maximum rate exigible in respect thereof be two shillings or three shillings in the pound on that value," in lines two, three and four of paragraph (b) of the proviso.
